Scientists and magically attuned people began to notice astronomical and thermautogical anomalies in their observations — all pointing towards the Anchor. Eventually, the Dream Demon got involved, so the same people begin to notice the Anchor faster in each timeline, until they gather enough data to realise they’re in a time loop.
