Gehrman was born into a theater, and was unloved for his lack of talent. He became a guy who fixes things and works at Byrgenwerth Uni. He meets Laurence and immediately falls in love. He ends up working for Laurence and joining him in the formation of the Healing Church. They manage to obtain all parts of the umbilical cord. He performs the ritual of the Blood Moon, becoming a Great One.
